01 Apr CORUS45 Guide to Spring and Summer Concerts in Cleveland
It’s almost summer, and Cleveland is getting some rockin’ shows passing through town! You know no one loves music more than the CORUS45 Crüe. Here are our Headliners’ top Spring and Summer picks!
NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK: THE MIXTAPE TOUR
May 4 – Quicken Loans Arena
This amazing throwback show will include special guests Salt N’ Pepa, Debbie Gibson, and Naughty by Nature. Donnie, Danny, Jordan, Joey, and Jon and are also back in the studio making music, and their newest song “80’s Baby” is totally badass and filled with nostalgia.
May 5 – Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
Old school crooner Leon Bridges and his GOOD THING Tour will be bringing his talents to Nautica—a short walk from our Ohio City studio! Leon’s most popular songs include “River”, “Beyond”, and “Coming Home”. Grab your love and catch a soulful show by the Cuyahoga.
YOUNG THE GIANT / FITZ AND THE TANTRUMS
June 30 – Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
Fans of fun, playful Alt Rock will love this combination of Young the Giant and Fitz and the Tantrums passing through the Land in June. For Young the Giant, Lead Singer Sameer Gadhia brings one of the greatest contemporary rock voices. Fans of hits “Cough Syrup” and “My Body” will love their new album, Home of the Strange.
Everyone remembers Fitz and the Tantrums’ smash hit “HandClap”. Frontman Michael Fitzpatrick is famous for always bringing an amazing live show. We recommend standing in the pit for this show—you’re going to want to dance!
THIRD EYE BLIND / JIMMY EAT WORLD
July 2 – Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
The ‘90s are BACK! Third Eye Blind and Jimmy Eat World are teaming up for an explosive show on July 2. “The most scintillating, inspiring collective moments of my life have been outdoors in the summer exploding with music,” Third Eye Blind Frontman Stephan Jenkins says of Summer Gods Tour. Grab your best pals, your grunge gear, and get your tickets fast as this show will definitely sell out (just steer clear of the mosh pit)!
TRAIN / GOO GOO DOLLS
Aug 14 – Blossom Music Center
It’s bound to be a good time at Blossom as pop rock bands Train and Goo Goo Dolls come together for a late summer show. Train just released its Greatest Hits album, and Goo Goo Dolls have been putting out soulful hits since the late 80’s. The Headliners recommend grabbing seats in the grass for this one— and be ready to sing along!
THE BLACK KEYS – LET’S ROCK TOUR
September 30 – Quicken Loans Arena
The Boys are back in town! Akron’s own the Black Keys is finally returning for a rockin’ arena show this September. We can’t help but hope they play a few of their hits from the much-loved 2010 album Brothers. Indie Hitmaker Modest Mouse will be tagging along. Grab your tickets right away as this one will definitely be standing room only.
